Q: When my car idles it sounds like its cutting off for a bit and then goes back to normal.

asked by on May 26, 2017

When I start my car it turns on right away but as soon as the rpms hit 1000, just for a couple seconds, it sounds like it's cutting off or something and I can also feel it when it does. It also happens when I'm at a stop light but it's random. It has a check engine light on and I went before the light went on to go get the code read because the check engine light comes on and then turns off a couple days of driving. The code I got was p0193. So could it be the senor that's gone bad and causing my weird idle?

My car has 64000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
