Q: When I crank it up when it's cold or cooled down it has a loud whinnying sound and as it warms up it starts to quiet down a lot.

It has a loud whinnying noise when I crank it up when it's cold or when it has cooled down & after it runs for a while it starts to quiet down a lot is it the motor or is it the transmission making the noise & what exactly is the problem.

My car has 210500 miles.
