Q: When coming to a stop rpm dives and then car can barely move when trying to accelerate again
When I am almost at a complete stop the rpm dives to below 1000 and the car starts to shake and rattle. When I try to move again the car can barely get going long enough to pull over. It's easy enough to fix right there and then, as turning the car off and on fixes it. It also happens when I'm idling for a little while. I've had a vacuum hose leak before but it was supposed to have been fixed, that was about 6 months ago. Could it be the same thing and if so, why does it keep happening?
