I replaced my intake manifold gasket on my dodge Dakota. Got it all put back together and start it and it revs up over 5000 rpm. Everything seems to be hooked back up. When I unhook the MAF sensor it doesn't do it but it also doesn't run good and my breaks don't work well at all. Could a bad MAF sensor cause it to rev up like that? I thought maybe some kind of intake leak but it's way tighter now then it was before I replaced the gasket. I can not find anything anywhere on what would cause this and nobody I've talked to knows or can figure it out either.
