Q: What is the correct voltage for 2007 CTS 3.6 ignition coils. I am trying to test with a multimeter.
The car initally came up with Ignition coils on the diagnostic. I replaced all 6. Cleared the codes and tested, can back with an ECM fault. My mechanic suggested that I check the ignition coils to make sure I didn't get a bad one. To note the fuses for the ECM were the incorrect voltage so we swapped and replaced those as well. So before I purchase a new ECM I want to test the Ignition coils to make sure I don't have a faulty one but need a little help with the procedure.
