What does the low tire pressure Warning Light mean?

The low tire pressure Warning Light is located on the instrument panel. If the light flashes for one minute, and then illuminates consistently, then the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is malfunctioning. If the light illuminates without ever flashing, then the TPMS has detected that one of your tires is not inflated to the proper pressure. Tips The low tire pressure Warning Light will illuminate when the vehicle is first turned on. The light is only a problem if it stays lit for more than a few seconds.
