What can the remote control do?

A: Whether your car has an integrated mechanic...

Whether your car has an integrated mechanical key and remote, or the electronic key system, it still has a remote control that allows you to do a number of different things from a distance. Here’s what you need to know about the buttons

  • Lock button: Locks the doors

  • Unlock button: Unlocks the doors (press it twice within three seconds to unlock all the doors, otherwise it only opens the driver door)

  • Horn button: Push and hold this to set off the car alarm

Tip

The lights will flash and you’ll hear a buzzer when locking and unlocking the doors.
