This may be related to a faulty or dirty idle air control valve. As you may know, this is a unit that reads the air intake as it is mixed with fuel prior to entering the motor. The computer then uses this info to make adjustments to the fueling. When this is not working properly, this may cause the car ti idle erratically or in some cases not at all. This may also cause a noticeable power loss. I would recommend having an expert from YourMechanic come to your location to diagnose and repair your idle air control valve.
