Q: VW 96 Jetta eng swap into 84 vanagon

asked by on

Does the obd2 unit need to be flashed It is not the unit that came with eng
My car has a manual transmission.

Hi there. Unfortunately, we don’t offer engine swap services or advice on completing these projects due to the multiple variables involved in these services. Your best bet is to contact a Volkswagen dealership to ask them about whether or not reflashing the ECU is needed. Good luck.
