Q: Vehicle starting, shaking and then dying after sitting for a short period after a long drive when started again.

asked by on November 26, 2017

Every time I go on a longer drive, the vehicle is fine. However, after it has sat for about 10 minutes or so and I try to restart it, the vehicle will start but shakes and then will die a few seconds later. After it has sat for about another hour, the vehicle will start up and run just fine.

My car has 115000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
