Q: Vehicle overheats and makes a loud hissing noise, seeming to come from the back of the Engine.

asked by on April 03, 2017

Upon driving a short distance, the Thermostat begins to read very high (inbetween H and the thick bar before it.)

If kept driving, it begins to emit white smoke and when turned off, I can hear a loud hissing noise coming from the (what seems like) back end of the Engine.
