Q: Vehicle is overheating

asked by on

My vehicle is overheating.

The first thing to be done is to pressure test the system for leaks; if okay and the fluids are not low, then the thermostat and water pump should be checked for proper flow. If all this checks out, then the radiator fan clutch and radiator should be checked for proper operation and flow. I recommend having a mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, inspect your overheating issue to identify and quote the repairs needed.
