Q: Truck not starting properly.

asked by on

My truck will not start.

Hello, there are two different directions for a no start. The first being the starter doesn’t work to start the engine. There are two thing to check here: that the base motor turns over manually, and that there is power at the starter motor. The second is a crank no start. There are more items to be checked here like fuel pressure, ignition and the power train control module. You may need to enlist the aid of a mechanic to perform testing with a scan tool and possible electrical testing.
