Q: Trouble starting

asked by on January 31, 2017

I have changed the camshaft but the car still will not fire up. The spark plugs have spark and it trys to turn. Now i am thinking it could be the crankshaft sensor. I know i will have to take belts off. Book says it is on driver side but belts are on passenger side. Is there a clear way to find it and could that be the problem. Only have the p0340 code that it gave me.
My car has a manual transmission.
