Q: transmissions

asked by on November 09, 2017

Hello! I have a 2002 cadillac deville. It's throwing a code for a torque converter clutch solenoid. The transmission slips only when it's hot. I need to know whether I should have the solenoid replaced, or if I should just have the transmission rebuilt. I have to get my car through emissions and it's failing because of the check engine light is on.

My car has 164 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
