asked by on

I have a 2001 gmc Sierra 4x4 4.8l with push button 4wd the transmission is slipping my buddy has a 99 Silverado 4x4 4.8l with floor shift 4wd can I use the transmission and keep my transfer case will it all bolt up
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi there - yes, both of you have the 4L60E transmission (w/4WD rear housing). Since you both have the 4.8l engines, this should be a bolt-up project. Good luck with it!
