Q: Transmission oil

asked by on

If I provide my own oil (to have my transmission oil changed) will I be charged less than quoted?

My car has 130000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hello. Most of the time if you are quoted to service your transmission it will include the fluid in the cost. If you provide your own fluid it is very important that it is the correct fluid that is made for your vehicle. If not then transmission damage can occur.
