Q: Tool light on

asked by on

My Tool light is on.

The "tool" light is a maintenance reminder light. This means that mileage based maintenance is due. The required maintenance is usually an oil change, but your vehicle could be due for other maintenance such as an air filter or transmission filter. If recent maintenance was performed, the light may not have been reset. Your owners manual has the maintenance requirements for your vehicle.
