Q: Ticking/Tapping
When i first got the truck i could hear a slight ticking sound . Now at 37000 miles you can hear it plan as day. Often when i come to a rolling stop then accelerate i can hear a clunk almost if it is a valve. My question is that if this problem has been continually getting worse u would think that there is metal in the oil which is going through my whole engine. Beimg that toyota does my oil changes i have not seen the oil to inspect it. How would this effect my engine and how should handle the issue. I brought it to toyota dealships aatention and the guy acted like there was no issue
