Q: the power windows do not operate

asked by on

I have a 1989 GMC Vandura and the power windows do not operate I have a good fuse

Use a test light to check for power at the switches - especially the driver’s door master switch. If none of the windows work from their individual switches either, you can have a bad master window switch. A common problem that can happens as these vehicles age is a broken wire or wires in the driver’s door jamming. Have a technician inspect your window issue and repair it accordingly.
