Q: The motor is shaking, loss of power and shift ruff

Going 75mph all of the sudden lost power it was like it's hesitating. In neutral and Park it shakes violently, until it gets to around 2500 rpm it starts to smooth out but it will not get to 4000rpm.in Drive ,it wants to die, Or in Reverse doesn't matter. Going down the road at 3000 RPM I have to let off the gas so the transmission will shift also it will slow down to 10 miles to 0 miles on a not so big inclined. Codes has read multiple misfire and something to do with 3rd and 4th gear. I looked at the gear on the distributor looks good .A little warm but not bad. crank sensor has been replace that still the same. I had cleared the codes. I have drove it around for approximately 45 minutes to an hour and still no codes have came back.The timing chain feels ok. Still can't figure it out I'm at a standstill. Thx from Cato.
