This is an electrical issue which will require a circuit trace and basic tests with a voltmeter to pin down, that is identify the faulty component or wiring fault. Broadly, the display itself (it may for example be an LCD) may have failed or there may be an interruption in the circuit. An interruption could involve any segment of the circuit, terminals, the ground, fuse and relay, as well as the fuse and relay holders. To efficiently find the issue requires the wiring (circuit) diagram from the Factory Service Manual. To obtain a prompt diagnosis and resolution of this, the recommended service is an electrical circuit/component diagnostic. If you request that service, the responding certified mechanic will get this diagnosed and resolved, right at your location.
