Q: The crankshaft pulley on my 3.3 L engine appears loose and wiggling once the engine warms up. How should I Tighten?

asked by on November 06, 2017

Once the engine warms up the fan belt begins rubbing against a bolt head making a knocking noise. I believe it is caused by the loose crankshaft pulley. Is tightening the crankshaft a job which is possible or recommended for a amateur? Is a torque wrench and socket needed? Anything further?
