Q: Temperature gauge stopped working

asked by on

The temperature gauge stopped working, but the radiator fans are running.

The radiator fan control module could be shorted, causing the fan to stay on for longer than the normal maximum time of fifteen minutes. If the fans shut off before the fifteen minutes, then the gauge may be bad in the cluster. I recommend that you have a mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, come by and inspect your temperature gauge.
