Q: tapping noise in tranny when in gear and rpms are over 1000, 2007 Sentra. Shifts fine
when in gear and rpms go above 1000/1500 there is a sound in tranny that is almost a tapping/ something hitting sound. Faster I go the faster the sound is. The sound is not coming from the engine sounds like in the tranny. Engine is about 2 yrs old. Car shifts fine. What could this be.
