Q: Strange electrical problems with no real signs it was coming.

asked by on August 17, 2017

OK so I lost my home cell phone charger so I had it in my car charging with the windows down. At the end of the night I went to put the windows up and grab my phone but it acting like the battery was dead. I gave it a jump and it's started right away but staled. I eventually got it to stay running and my passenger side window goes up and inch at a time before stopping. The radio went out. The turn signals are blinking every 4 seconds. My headlights are coming on and off even in the off position. The steering wheel controls have to be pressed multiple times for it to work. Same with the heated seats. The starting problem is getting worse. I've noticed that sometimes when I try to start it nothing will happen. I'm pretty sure it my key because I've washed it numerous times and none of the unlock, lock, trunk or panic button work. Is there some sort of protection thru the key that could cause all those weird electric problems or is there something else that links everything
