Q: Starter not engaging when vehicle hot

asked by on

When the vehicle is driven and gets hot, the starter does not engage when key is turned to the start position.

You likely require a starter, wiring, battery, or wiring. Hopefully it will be a simple starter repair. Without diagnosis, it is hard to determine. A qualified technician, such as one from YourMechanic can inspect your vehicle and provide the necessary repairs.
