Q: Starts and runs for about 2 to 3 seconds

car was running great. then this morning got in and turned the key. the car started. but died in about 2 to 3 seconds. if i keep trying. the motor turns over 5 or 6 times and fires.but that all.

My car has 200000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
