Q: Sputtering sound and slight knocking also has no power at a launch and hesitates to switch gears

When i drive it sounds like the car is sputtering continuisly gives out very little power at a take off from a stop and gears take a while to go in (i have to let the throttle go and wait a couple seconds for the next gear to come in then give it throttle) what may be my issues also a slight bit of knocking when it sputters
