Q: Should the oil light show when timing belt bad/ get oil changes what could of happened why no signs
Car wouldn’t start it turns out timing belt melted or blew up which caused multiple damages.. 1- my mechanic estimated $4.000++ much higher than any of your shown estimates.. Question— I maintain an oil change // wouldn’t there have been noticed if oil leak? 2- shouldn’t there have been an oil light on if a leakage? 3- wouldn’t any services I’ve had done // oil changes // few odds —- anyone notice ???
