Q: Strut replacement

asked by on May 01, 2017

i'm having my front lower control arms replaced due to a torn rubber bushing. my mechanic is recommending i replace my front struts while hes doing the work there anyway. i have 104K miles on the original struts. is his suggestion correct? i don't have considerable evidence of bad shocks (lots of bouncing, etc) but i also bought the car used and maybe i'm just used to the poor ride from worn shocks.

Any thoughts?

Rob
