Q: Should I buy a new drive line

asked by on

When I bought this car the front drive line or shaft was taken out of it so I only have rear wheel drive instead of awd ... the guy said it was making noise.. does this mean I need to buy a new one or could it be something simpler than a bad drive shaft

My car has 190000 miles.

The front drive line joints are constant velocity type joints and in most cases you have to replace the complete drive shaft with a rebuilt one since it will need to be balanced.
