I changed the water pump and when I put it back together I made sure all the marks on the cam pulley crank pulley and both balance shafts were aligned. When I test drove it, it idled fine and ran good for a mile then started bucking and stalling. I took the front covers back off and checked the timing marks and everything looks fine. My concern is that maybe the marks are wrong.
When the #1 piston is coming up on the exhaust stroke should the exhaust valve close completely before the piston is all the way at the top or should it still be slightly open when the piston is at the top of the stroke?
