Q: Severe vibration while pushing on the gas

asked by on

Any time I push on the gas my car vibrates so bad it is popping my hood every mile or two.

My car has 200000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi there:

It looks like you’ve got a pretty serious vibration issue that is commonly caused by broken motor mounts if it’s severe enough to pop your front hood open. Before you continue driving your vehicle any further, you should have a professional mobile mechanic complete a car is vibrating or shaking inspection; so they can pinpoint the source of your vibration and recommend the right repairs.
