Q: Service vehicle soon constantly stays on so how would i know my car as a fault

since I brought my car the service vehicle soon as always stayed on the display my car is now in limp mode. if the service vehicle soon as always been on does that mean my car as always had a fault with it.

My car has 84000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.
