Q: Service engine soon light is on

asked by on

My service engine soon light is on I don't know why

My car has 91106 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi there. The Service Engine Soon signal is the same as a Check Engine light. A scanner or code reader has to be plugged into the diagnostic connector to read what code set the light on. If you do not have a scanner, a certified technician from YourMechanic can come to your car’s location to read the codes and pinpoint the appropriate repairs.
