Q: Security like flickering when car is off. Started doing this after battery going bad.
Yesterday my battery went bad. When I tried to turn car on it didnt turn on.The dash went crazy flickering on and off. Put a new battery or acually replaced a battery that only lasted 6 months.The issue is that the security icon flickers when car is off. It didn't do that before. Everything works locks, unlocks,with the chirps the blue led light turns on and off but when you touch or hit the car it won't go off chirping when locked.. I'm not able to find a reset video or anything on Viper 7142v 1way alarm. Car starts and all but can't find why or how to fix the problem...
