Q: Running rough at idle

asked by on

Running rough at idle driving sees okay slow down act Ike going to die

My car has 147000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

When an engine runs rough at idle only it is most likely caused by a vacuum leak in the intake manifold gasket or the intake manifold runner control is stuck in the wrong position for closed throttle. Have a mechanic like one from YourMechanic check for codes in the computer and check the engine for vacuum leaks.
