Q: RPM

asked by on June 28, 2017

My car its a 4 speed 2.0 auto ford focus zetec and it used to go on 2.500 RPM on 100k/h and 2.000 RPM on 80 k/h 1 year before and it had then 60.000 kilometers on. Now after 1 year and around 30.000 more kilometers on it runs on 2.300 RPM on 80 k/h and on 2.900 RPM on 100 k/h. Is it any fault or every car does that? I'm kind of concerned and I would really like to know what's going on.

My car has 90000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
