Q: Why does my right turn signal stay on when I use it in my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee

When I turn my right turn signal on it sticks in the on position and I have to mess with it to get it to shut off I have already changed the turn signal multifunction switch and checked the connections and the front and rear lights can anybody help me please
