Q: Rear window not going up

asked by on

The rear window of my car won't go up.

Having a window that will not roll up is always a frustrating experience for a car owner. There could be a different few reasons as to why the rear window in your Cadillac is refusing roll up. A faulty window switch, faulty regulator or a bad window motor are some of the more common causes that duplicate what you and your vehicle are experiencing. To be 100% certain though on what is causing your window to not operate, it may be time to enlist the assistance of a certified mechanic to come by and inspect your back window. They will have the knowledge and tools to determine exactly what is preventing your window from rolling up as well as make the necessary repairs so you can roll up your window and keep your vehicle secure when you park it.
