Q: Rear power window not going up

asked by on

The rear power window won't go up.

If you hear the motor moving when the switch is activated then the window regulator is broken and needs to be replaced. It is recommended to replace the motor and regulator as an assembly but you can get the regulator separately if you want to take the chance it will work and that the motor has not been damaged as well. I recommend having a certified mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, come and inspect why your window won’t go up.
