Q: Rear passenger's window not going up

asked by on

The rear passenger's window is stuck in the down position and makes a grinding sound when I try to get it to go up.

It sounds like your power window motor is shot. The grinding sound that you are hearing are probably stripped gears in the motor. I would recommend having a certified technician come out and replace the power window motor.
