Q: Radiator question

asked by on March 01, 2018

I just replaced my radiator, fan clutch, thermostat, and water pump on my 2008 ford sport trac. I have drove it a little and have left it idling for about 15-25 minutes at a time. The cabin heater is working properly and the gauge is staying in the middle where it is supposed to be. No overheating issues. My issue is that the top hose is getting very hot while the bottom hose is staying cool. Do I need to test it more or do I have a blockage problem?

My car has 93000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
