Q: Radiator leaking

asked by on

My radiator leaks when I fill it up.

Hello, if you have a coolant leak that drains as fast as you can fill it, then that is something that needs to diagnosed and repaired sooner than later to avoid engine damage. If you know that it is your radiator, then when you have it replaced it is a good time to replace the upper and lower radiator hoses, radiator cap, and the thermostat. I would have a certified mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic locate any coolant leaks that exist and have them properly repaired.
