Q: Radiator leaking

asked by on

My radiator is leaking fluid.

If your radiator is leaking coolant, I would first recommend not to drive the vehicle until it is replaced. When radiators spring leaks, they tend to lose fluid much faster than any other part. I would recommend having your radiator replaced by a quality mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, and then pressure tested afterwards to ensure that no leaks exist. Also, be sure to have the technician bleed out any air from the cooling system after the repair to prevent overheating or an intermittently inaccurate temperature gauge.
