Q: Pully fell off

asked by on September 05, 2017

Had my main pully fail on me, car stalled and kept trying to start it. Never did. Had it fixed and car stalled again. The guy that fixed it said there's a pin that goes into the engine and that it got bent. And stripped the bolt and I think he said the threads in the engine. My car now shakes like crazy when started. He told me I need a new engine and offered me 800 for my car.

My car has 157000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
