Q: Problem with right front area of car.

The Check Engine Light came on today. I noticed a sound issuing from the right front area for a couple of weeks.

These problems may or may not be associated with each other but I would have a certified mechanic scan the computer with a scan tool to read the codes. Noises coming from the right front might be suspension or steering issues, wheel bearings have a distinct whirring noise while brakes typically squeak if the surfaces aren’t completely true (flat).
