Q: Problem with knock sensor or coils

asked by on

My car shakes and the valve cover leaks. I think it is either the knock sensor or the coils, or both.

Hi there, many others have reported shaking during idle with the Q45 around that time. Replacing the coils has been reported to fix the issue, however there are other components that could be affecting the engine’s smoothness as well so it’s better to have the shaking issue diagnosed more thoroughly.
