Q: Power window not working

asked by on

The button on my driver's side power window does not work.

It is possible that the button or switch itself could be faulty. It is also possible that the window motor may have gone bad preventing the window from working. I would first recommend having an inspection of the window circuitry done by a qualified technician. The first test should be done one the switch itself since it is the easiest to access. If the switch has continuity, it should work and the most likely cause would be the motor. Have the motor replaced if this is the case to get window functioning properly.
